I had the honored excitement of being selected as a pattern tester for @prettybobbins or Gemma, depending on where you follow her.
She designed this beautiful foundation paper piecing block and I just adore it. Here is my version of her block. I wanted to keep with a starry night sky idea...blacks and greys for the sky/clouds, and gold/white for the star.

I just love how the Cotton and Steel gold netting fabric shines perfectly like a star.
It was such a quick and easy go-together for the blocks. The pattern is 3 pieces per block, 4 blocks for a finished block. And, with the block finishing at 15 inches, your project is done in a flash.
The only notes about the block that I had were that there be a guide for where the lines match up at the center to ensure matched seams and even lines.

Other than that, I can't wait to see this one start being sold! I know a ton of people are going to make some amazing crafts with this pattern. Definitely be sure you check out instagram #prettybobbinspatterns to see some other takes on this cool block.
Thank you, Gemma, for letting me be a part of this super awesome process. I look forward to doing more!
Keep sweating and sewing!
